We want to help people like you achieve your dreams and in the process, you help us achieve ours.

It’s been said that most people live their entire lives without fulfilling their dreams. Specifically, only 8% of people meet their goals. This is according to an article on inc.com (June 13, 2018). Great read! We are all born with a purpose and we spend our lives striving and working to find that purpose and then to achieve it.

It is a great feeling when one attains to a sense of purpose. It is monumental when one is able to fulfill their destiny. Some do it at a young age and others don’t get there until they’re older. It does not matter at what age or stage you get there, what matters is that you do.

One of the most inspiring stories I’ve ever heard is that of Colonel Sanders. He lost his business at around the age of 65 and had no money to his name. It was at this point that he began applying himself to the things that led to what we now call KFC. He traveled around the country, selling chicken made from his special recipe and charging restaurants a nickel for every piece of chicken sold. Long story short, he ended up making a decent living even after some harsh failures. His final 35 years created the legacy we remember him for (businessinsider.com).

The key is that he never gave up! Our dreams deserve a fight to the end. We have everything we need to be able to accomplish what we need to accomplish. Here are 3 tips to help you get started on writing…or rewriting your story:

1.

Write it down

The bible tells us to write down the vision and make it plain…(Habakkuk 2:2). A written vision acts as a reminder of our dreams. When we make the effort to write something down, it sticks in our memory longer. It then creates a template to work from. We can easily forget details gained in a moment of inspiration but what’s written down lasts. It then allows us to have a reference point for accountability. We can easily pass it on to others to hold us accountable to it.

2.

Develop it into practical steps

A vision, a dream, or an idea without practical steps is like a vehicle with no engine. It is going nowhere. Practical steps give the engine to the dream and provide the momentum to help us achieve it. Make sure the steps are P.R.A.C.T.I.C.A.L. This means that you CAN actually do these things. Keep it simple, practical, and with a clear timeline and specific deadlines.

3.

Take one step at a time

Practical steps on their own don’t get you there. A popular ancient proverb says ‘a journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step. Focus on the one step you’re on and before you know it, you’ll have taken several steps and on your way to success. If it takes you longer than expected on any given step, remember to stay positive and keep things in the right perspective until you can move to the next step.

And finally…get some help! It is why people like us do what we do. We want to help people like you achieve your dreams and in the process, you help us achieve ours. It is the best ecosystem in the world and it works!
